World Congress of Soil Science 2022

Significant issues continue to affect our natural environment, with many of these affecting soil: erosion, loss of soil carbon and biodiversity, soil compaction and sealing and impacts on food security. The World Congress of Soil Science 2022, Crossing Boundaries - Changing Society, aimed to address these issues amongst others, with a selection of talks, demonstrations, presentations, seminars and art exhibitions in Glasgow Scottish Event Campus. https://22wcss.org/

I attended with as many prints and works as I could
carry up north and ran paint making and muller print workshops for the delegates. it was a huge success.

“Lots of nice talks at WCSS22 but the highlight for me today was making this soil art using colours made with soil and biochar”
