Bill Taylor's Brain 2012 oil on plywood

This piece was a part of the chance series than ran from 2012 through to 2015, but incorporated the tiles from Anblickspiel among the other more platonic elements. The electrical symbols, reference to systems, chance elements and Gestalt perception combine to create a work that was inspired by Daniel Dennet's theories of consciousness and my own research into perception.
